About US –
NBOF Agrotourism center at Manbha is having IFBM (Integrated Farm Business) model which is role model for farmers from our vicinity. Our version of IFBM involves, Agroforestry, Animal husbandry, floriculture, Food processing, Bamboo plantation and processing, nature education, organic farming, center for Agriprenuership development programs etc.
Nature’s Bliss Organic Farms company has been formed under MSME, GOI and Nature’s Bliss Agrotourism is its first product. We started working on NB Agrotourism in 2018 by planting varieties of plants in our 12 acres land out of total 50 acres.
Being an organic farmer, my father, Nilkanthrao Deshmukh, played key role in its development. He oversees plantation and on-site development work. Priyanka, my wife, with the help of Architect Akash Deshmukh took care of facility designs, construction, and interiors. I was responsible for overall project management, finance management and IFBM concept designing. Off course, support of my mother Pranita and Son Yatharth with all other family and friends was instrumental to complete this project.
We always wanted to create agrotourism where family groups, ladies’ groups, school trips, nature lovers will visit and enjoy the facility and learn from nature, and get benefited from mother nature’s blessings.
What is current state?
Phase 1 of NB Agrotoursim (NBAT) got completed in Dec 2021 and started accepting bookings from same time. Until August 2022, we have successfully hosted more than 40 guest groups at NBAT center. We wanted to go slow initially, as staff was from village and whole team needed some time to fine-tune operations and groom themselves in this hospitality sector.
NBAT is good place for family and ladies’ groups where they will find peaceful environment in abode of agroforest.
Currently, we can host residential program for 50 people, who can stay in bungalow and tents at NBAT. We have swimming tank, rain dance, more than 7,500 planted trees from different 200+ varieties, modern common washrooms, beautiful dome as common covered area for guests, kids play reequipments and playground, Animal husbandry unit, farm pond with 45 lakh liter capacity, canal with beautiful bridge on it, Bungalow with 2 AC rooms and one hall, Mud rooms, well equipped kitchen, and restaurant, and many more.
Future Plans –
We are developing 3 mud rooms and 3 floating rooms on our farmpond which will be key attractions for guests. Beside this, Bungalow will be enhanced with additional 2 floors which will have 4 guest rooms on 1st floor and Owner’s residence on 2nd floor.
So very soon, NBAT will have total 12 rooms and 3 dormitories for residential purpose.
Bamboo processing unit, food processing unit, Agriprnuership development center, Bamboo Artisan training center are upcoming IFBM units.
We want to create NBOF as role model center to help farmers to have sustainable monthly income with the help of high margin agribusinesses which will be incubated in NBOF. This incubated social enterprise will provide trainings, business consulting and handholding to all associated farmers from their vicinity to generate revenue and pass on financial benefits to all involved stakeholders.
